About Voice of Sunamganj
Voice of Sunamganj: Dedicated Journalism for Sunamganj and the Nation
Voice of Sunamganj is a professional Bengali news portal at voiceofsunamganj.com, covering all 12 upazilas of Sunamganj district alongside national affairs. Our companion pages set out who we are, how to reach our newsroom, how we handle data, and how to advertise with us.
Our Mission
Grassroots haor coverage, reported with care
We cover the lives of haor communities, the markets and roads of every upazila, and the decisions that shape them. Each report names the place, the people affected, and what is confirmed.
Our reporting charter is district-first. International news is explicitly excluded, so every story we publish serves Sunamganj readers or the national issues that touch them.
Coverage Focus
Three commitments guide our newsroom
Our reporting concentrates where our readers live and work.
Governance
District accountability
We follow district administration, local government, and public works, reporting decisions and their effects on residents.
Agriculture
Haor livelihoods
We document paddy cultivation, fishing, flood conditions, and the seasonal life of the haor basin in plain, verified detail.
Civic life
Community voices
We give space to residents, farmers, students, and local leaders so that people affected by a story are heard in it.
